One Order. One Brighter Future: Fado Agri’s Future Impact Campaign – August 2026

For every export container shipped with Fado Agri during August 2026, we sponsor one complete School Starter Package for a disadvantaged child in Vietnam through the Future Seed Fund. The contribution comes entirely from Fado Agri. There is no additional cost to you, no surcharge on your unit price, and nothing extra to sign.

Ship five containers this August, and five children receive a School Starter Package on your behalf. Our goal for the month: at least 100 packages delivered to children from disadvantaged communities across Vietnam.

The campaign runs exclusively during August 2026. This article explains how it works, why we chose impact over a seasonal discount, and how we report the results back to you.

One Order. One Brighter Future

What the Future Impact Campaign Is

The Future Impact Campaign is a month-long sourcing initiative that converts shipping volume into school supplies. The mechanism is deliberately simple, because complicated CSR programmes tend not to get used: one export container shipped in August 2026 = one School Starter Package sponsored.

At Fado Agri, we believe a shipment should deliver more than premium Vietnamese agricultural products. It should also deliver hope, opportunity, and a better starting point for children who need it most.

How the one-for-one mechanism works

  • Every export container you ship with Fado Agri between 1 and 31 August 2026 counts
  • Fado Agri sponsors one School Starter Package per container through the Future Seed Fund
  • The sponsorship is funded from Fado Agri’s own revenue – your pricing, Incoterms, and payment terms stay exactly as quoted
  • Packages are attributed to your company, and you receive the count for your own shipments
  • Volume is counted on containers actually shipped, not on orders placed and later cancelled.

For example: If your company ships 5 export containers during August 2026, Fado Agri will sponsor 5 complete School Starter Packages on your behalf – at no extra cost to you.

Who receives the packages

Packages go to children in disadvantaged communities – the households where a school bag, a set of notebooks, or a pair of shoes is a genuine budget decision at the start of the school year. In Vietnam, the academic year opens in early September, which is precisely why the campaign sits in August.

Why Education, and Why August

Because the gap is documented, not anecdotal.

UNICEF Viet Nam reports that only about one in five ethnic minority students reaches upper secondary school or higher, while just under half of children from rural areas complete upper secondary education. The same organisation notes that children in rural areas are roughly twice as likely as urban peers to face deprivation in education, health, nutrition, shelter, water and sanitation – with nearly four in ten ethnic minority children affected.

Vietnam’s own measurement work confirms the pattern. The national statistics office, working with UNICEF, treats educational deprivation as a standalone dimension of child poverty in its analysis of multidimensional child poverty from 2002 to 2024. A child can sit above the income poverty line and still lack the basic materials needed to stay in a classroom.

A school bag does not solve structural inequality. But it removes one concrete reason a child stops showing up – and in the first weeks of a school year, that is often the reason that matters most.

Why We Chose Impact Over a Seasonal Discount

August is normally discount season. We looked at running one and decided against it.

A 2–3% seasonal discount spreads thinly across a buyer’s landed cost and disappears into a spreadsheet within a quarter. The same budget, directed at school supplies, produces something a buyer can name, photograph, and report. For importers and distributors who now carry ESG reporting obligations to their own retail customers, that difference is practical, not sentimental.

  Seasonal discount Future Seed Campaign
Effect on your unit price Small, temporary reduction None — price unchanged
Effect on your margin Absorbed into landed cost Neutral
Reportable in your ESG or CSR disclosure No Yes — attributable package count
Story for your retail customers None Documented sourcing-linked impact
Duration of the benefit One purchase cycle A child’s school year
Cost to you Zero

We also think the timing matters commercially. Vietnam’s coconut sector reached roughly US$1.15 billion in export value in 2025, keeping the country among the world’s top five coconut exporters, according to the Vietnam Coconut Association as reported by VietnamPlus. The country farms around 200,000 hectares of coconut, with a large share concentrated in the Ben Tre growing region. A sector growing that fast should be visibly returning value to the communities that supply it – and that is a claim we would rather demonstrate than advertise.

How to Take Part in Three Steps

There is no registration form and no separate agreement.

  1. Place your order for August 2026 shipment – fresh coconut in any of our six export formats (conical peeling, whole, diamond cut, easy open, bald, lid on), or any tropical fruit in our range: dragon fruit, seedless lime, Cavendish banana, watermelon, Taiwanese guava, longan.
  2. Ship as normal – harvesting, processing, cold chain, phytosanitary inspection, and export documentation are unchanged. The campaign has no effect on lead times.
  3. Receive your impact confirmation – after shipment, we confirm how many School Starter Packages your volume sponsored.

If you are sourcing from Vietnam for the first time and are unsure which coconut format suits your market, talk to us before you commit to a specification. Call (+84) 908 479 339 – the campaign applies to first orders as well.

What your volume sponsors

Containers shipped in August 2026 School Starter Packages sponsored
1 container 1 package
3 containers 3 packages
5 containers 5 packages
10 containers 10 packages
20 containers 20 packages

Every container counts the same way. A single-container trial order sponsors a child exactly as a twenty-container programme does – the arithmetic simply scales.

How We Keep It Transparent

An impact claim is only worth as much as its reporting. Three commitments:

  • Per-customer attribution. You receive the package count generated by your own shipments – not a generic thank-you note at the end of the quarter.
  • No hidden cost recovery. The sponsorship is funded from Fado Agri revenue. We do not adjust quotes, freight recovery, or specification tolerances to offset it.
  • Published results. Once the campaign closes, the total number of packages delivered and the distribution activity are published on Fado Agri’s official channels.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the Future Impact Campaign run?

From 1 to 31 August 2026 only. It is an annual initiative, so it will return around the next school year, but each edition’s mechanism and target are announced separately.

Does taking part cost me anything?

No. Fado Agri funds every School Starter Package from its own revenue. Your quoted price, Incoterms, freight arrangement, and payment terms are unaffected.

What exactly is a School Starter Package?

A complete set of essential educational materials for one child starting the school year – the basics that keep a child in class rather than out of it.

Does a small order still count?

Yes. There is no minimum volume threshold beyond a shipped container. One container sponsors one package, whether it is a first trial shipment or part of a standing programme.

Do consolidated or LCL shipments qualify?

The campaign is structured around full export containers shipped during August 2026.

Which products are included?

All Fado Agri export lines: fresh coconut in six formats, dragon fruit, seedless lime, Cavendish banana, watermelon, Taiwanese guava, longan, and coconut by-products such as coir, desiccated coconut, and coconut shell.

Will this affect my delivery schedule or quality standards?

No. Sourcing, cold chain handling, phytosanitary certification, and loading run exactly as they do outside the campaign. Fado Agri operates under FDA, GLOBALG.A.P and HACCP certifications, and none of that changes in August.

Can I use this in my own sustainability reporting?

Yes – that is part of the intent. You receive an attributable package count tied to your shipments, which you are free to cite in your CSR or ESG communications.

Is there a Vietnamese-market version of this campaign?

Yes. Domestic customers take part through “One Order. One Brighter Future”, where Fado Agri contributes VND 200 per fresh coconut or per kilogram of produce sold during August 2026 to the same cause.

How do I confirm my participation?

You do not need to. Ship with us in August 2026 and the count is applied automatically. If you would like to go further than your shipment volume, email [email protected] – partners wanting to co-fund additional packages are welcome.

Ship With Purpose This August

Every order you place today is more than a choice for quality products. It is a gift toward dreams that are waiting to take flight.

Together with Fado Agri, let’s turn every fresh coconut and every kilogram of Vietnamese produce into hope, into knowledge, and into dreams ready to soar.
